dude - these recent ones make me desire to learn painter... but...so confusing!
Not painter! they're a mix of Photoshop (rendering) and Artrage 2 (colour block in) http://www.artrage.com/ Artrage 2.5 Costs $20!! Apparently version 3 is awesome. I think they have a limited day trial. Not a fan of painter either :/, it needs an overhaul. Your latest sketches have been sweeeet. Bow to the JP.
And you yourself sirrrrr ! Merry Christmas. These are lovely. :)
