I think I will be avoiding dudes named Lucas for a while - damn this image is creepy! Its great that you didn't put a cliche, haunted forest backdrop, but made the scene quite realistic.

There is a slight hint of red on the branches, is that painted or is it a filter of some kind.. awesome work btw!!
Cheers. The red is from moving the red channel in the channel palette, adds that chromatic aberration look :)
